Why Weight Loss is so Hard
The human body is designed to gain weight and store it so that we will not starve during periods of famine. Today, however, in most western societies there is very little shortage of food so many people have gained too much weight. We are designed to eat at every opportunity so those who have become overweight are blameless; they have only been responding to their body’s natural instincts. Having said that, however, it is now time to change in order to reduce the risk of the severe health problems that are associated with excess weight and it is my mission to help anybody who wants to lose weight to do so successfully and in a manner that enables them to maintain a healthy weight for the long term; say goodbye to the roller coaster of weight loss and weight gain.
Your Food For Life offers a 12-week weight loss programme that puts you in control of your eating habits and on the road to a healthy sustainable weight. It provides you with all you need to know about food and how to use it to your advantage. Most people lose about 5% of their body weight during the 12-week programme. Once you have completed your course you will be invited to attend short “catch-up” sessions for a weigh-in and chat giving you continued support and the opportunity to ask questions about your diet and progress. Alternatively, we can catch up via the telephone or Skype if you prefer. Your Food For Life also offers sessions for 6 to 10 people if you prefer to be part of a group of like-minded people who share your goals.
All Your Food For Life practitioners are qualified diet and nutrition advisors with specific knowledge and experience in long term weight loss and weight management. For more information contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01223 207859.
